Welcome to Moving it Forward, a celebration of progress. Thankfully my back is doing better. I'm mostly just stiff in the morning now. So I was able to assemble those drunkard's path pieces I showed on Friday. A good think since I am teaching this class on Wednesday. I realized just over a week ago that my quilt is in a shop and I would need an example. Then my back gave me grief and I was a little worried about getting this done. Thankfully everything worked out and I am ready for my class. I did this sample using Riley Blake's Primavera by Patty Young. You can find the pattern here.
I was able to finish the applique for my second row in My Neighborhood quilt along. Now to sew all the blocks together before it's time for the third row.
Finally we have a new bar in the shower. This time our family is using Oatmeal Honey. We have sensitive skin at my house, hence the reason I started making soap. One of my children has been stressed about the ACT test and the stress has given them hives. So we are using this bar to sooth their itchy irritated skin, poor thing.
